Recently I worked with the new and outstanding LNK Pilates in Cockeysville, Maryland to design a logo, ads and a website for their new Pilates studio!

Nikki has been working with Pilates instructor Brenda Liscinsky over the past year, and is very happy with her improved strength and flexibility as the result of Brenda’s instruction, so when Brenda and her studio-partner Stephanie asked me to work with them on this project I was happy and excited to be involved!

These ladies are organized, intelligent and a pleasure to collaborate with, and I would recommend a trip to see them to anyone! The studio opened this past Monday, and you can visit the website for more information! www.LNKpilates.com

It is REALLY COMING SOON! Here’s the ad you’ll start seeing in local papers such as the Sun, The City Paper and different Patuxent Publications. We are plugging along in plans, and coming up with some awesome new ideas for this year;s festival. Look for the World’s Largest Crabcake, a Cleaner Greener Festival and an Art Competition in the theme: What is a Hon?

Mount Vernon’s First Thursday Art Show

I did a postcard for Kelly Walker this week. It’s for her upcoming show at Donna’s Coffee Bar. Her new work features a line of canvas and painting styles that are abstract and fun, while still elegant and sophisticated in their own right.

The opening is on May 7, 2009, First Thursday in Mount Vernon. Opening the new First Thursday season is New Hampshire based indie band, Wild Light. Also on the program is Philadelphia singer-songwriter, Matt Duke. The music starts at 5:30 PM, and Donna’s Coffee Bar is at 800 N. Charles Street, so stop by the opeining too.
