Jasmine’s House

If you know nothing else about me, you probably know that I love dogs. I love all animals, really, but the abused and neglected are the ones that keep me busy, driven and engaged.

I founded Jasmine’s House in 2010 with my partner, Catalina, in memory of her dog, Sweet Jasmine. You may know Jasmine from the cover of a Sports Illustrated article that chronicled the horros at Bad Newz Kennels, Michael Vick’s home and dog-fighting operation. Since inception we’ve placed over 60 dogs in permanent homes, raised over 60,000 in donations and have launched a number of new initiatives. We have a small team of amazing volunteers who make the world-go-round for us, too.

Some of our upcoming initiatives include a youth program in Baltimore City Schools, and a capital campaign to build our future facility.

When I am not working, I am almost always doing something with the word dog in it. We’ve accomplished a ton and we aren’t stopping any time soon.

Thank you Jasmine, for teaching all of us that really anything is possible.

Visit the Facebook Page and look for the new website coming soon. Don’t look at the one that’s there now, its embarrassing! Sneak Peak at the new one in development below:
