DJ Sheldon with Hercules Gear

I met with my friend DJ Sheldon again last week to shoot some additional promo shots. This time, he needed some shots of him with his new Hercules mixing gear for a Magazine Ad that he hopes to be featured in. More on that when it develops For now, here were some of [...]

Billboard Design

Recently I was sought out by a property development company called Colonial Companies to develop a fresh billboard for their 55+ Active Living Community in Conowingo, Maryland. They wanted a design that was original and catchy. The problem that they faced was low traffic as a result of the billboard in its previous version.
I spent [...]

Baltimore Art Star

I did a brochure for my friend Kelly Walker at www.baltimoreartstar.com recently. Kelly is an awesome decorative painter in Baltimore, and she needed a refreshed design to show off her recent work. In response to her request, we came up with a clean but colorful look that emulates her style, craftsmanship and creativity all at [...]

Promo Shots for DJ Sheldon!

I met with DJ Sheldon on Federal Hill last week to take some promo shots for his website and some future promo postcards that springray will design. It was WINDY out, but beautiful nonetheless. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. Well be using these for posters and postcards soon!

Alex told me a story.

I took some quick head shots for Local Realtors Mindy Weisenborn and Sandy Stillman yesterday. Mindy brought her son inside, Alex, and he had just woken up from a nap. For a minute I wasn’t sure if he’d cheer up out of nap-land in time for me to snap some shots of him, but just [...]

Mallory Square: The Catman

The Catman at Mallory Square in Key West is a show not to be missed if you visit. In my experience, cats are cute. In my experience, cats are also indignant, rude, self-seeking, appalled by the notion of “neediness” and not driven by much of anything except for sunshine to sleep in, catnip and the [...]

Buster and Queen Maxine

Meet Buster and Maxine. Two of the most complementary counter-pooches I’ve met to date. Curmudgeonly old buster isn’t one for a photoshoot, but his sparky, spastic, choc-full-of-energy little sister sure is. They were a treat to shoot, and I’m looking forward to working with them more once spring blesses Baltimore with its beautiful colors.

Key West Love

We just got back from Key West. I love it there, more than anywhere else that I have seen in this country. It’s just enough of weird meets comfortable to make the perfect place I’ve seen yet. I think that I took somewhere upwards of 1,500 photographs while I was there, and will be sharing [...]

Photographs from the Dog Beach

We went to Rehoboth Beach this weekend to spend some time on the beach, despite the freezing cold! Bailey was in dog-heaven. While he ran about and ate some sand I snapped some shots. The winds shaped the dunes perfectly and Bailey stayed pretty warm with all of his jaunting.
